PRIVACY AND CONSENT POLICY

In accordance with the content of Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), and Regulation (EU) 2016/679, which establishes European standards for the processing of personal data, users of this website are informed of the following points:

  1. It is NOT NECESSARY, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, for Users to provide any private data or personal contact data such as their first name, last name, or ID number in order to access, subscribe to, or register for any of the services offered on this website.

  2. Users will only be identified internally by a Registration Number and a randomly generated Alias, pseudonym or nickname.

  3. The individuality (but not the identity) of users will be established exclusively through the Email Address provided by the user upon registration. This email address may be updated or changed by users at any time and as often as desired.

  4. Users will also be provided with system Access Data consisting of a randomly generated Username and Password. Users may also change their password as often as desired, as a safeguard for their security.

  5. Users may not change their Alias for system operational reasons.

  6. Other more or less personal data generated during the use of this Application, such as your Educational Institution, Company or Organization, Group, Academic Subject, or Department, Questionnaire Response Results, or Diagnostic References, will be coded using a unique association system between the Email Address and the Alias.

  7. The data—generally statistical—provided by users will be recorded in an automated private data file owned by the website owner. This file is under the responsibility of the website owner, as required by law.

  8. The purposes of collecting research data are: (a) the objectives set for each of the R&D&I Projects integrated into the INETAS Network; and (b) the provision of personalized guidance to users. This information is completely free of charge.

  9. The data contained in the file will be used solely and exclusively by its owner, and its transfer to any other organization is not foreseen (except by judicial order). Although we reserve the right to use them exclusively for statistical and academic purposes.

  10. Users may exercise their rights to access, rectify, and delete the statistical data they provide. To do so, they must identify themselves with their AliasUsername and current Password by requesting this from their Project Coordinator, who will then request it from the aforementioned Owner.

  11. To provide personalized service and tailor it to the user´s characteristics, this website uses cookies during browsing. The cookies used are short strings of information (for example, a multi-digit number) that temporarily identify the session. These cookies are installed by web servers on the user´s hard drive to identify a single work session. In any case, these cookies are only associated with an anonymous user and their computer, without allowing personal identification. In our case, they are deleted from the computer at the end of each work session. Users can choose to configure their browser to notify them of the receipt of cookies and prevent them from being installed on their hard drive, although this may cause errors or reduce the quality of the website´s operation.
