EXPECTED SCIENTIFIC-TECHNICAL OR INTERNATIONAL IMPACT

The new R&D Project should be seen as a continuation of the line of research with the addition of significant research variables that are related to the variables studied in the four prior R&D Projects.

Scientific and Technology Impact:

1) Scientific contributions
The Project will allow empirical evidence to be gathered for the new Theory of Self-Regulation vs External Regulation® (de la Fuente, 2015, 2022) and for the Competency Model to achieve Psy-chological Wellbeing - as an adaptation of CAERE (de la Fuente, 2015) in Clinical-Healthcare and Psycho-Organizational contexts, not tested thus far.

It will establish the existing INETAS NETWORK (www.inetas.net) (de la Fuente y Martínez, 2022) in terms of psychosocial research, as a Network for Excellence in Research in Spain and Internationally into Stress and Psychological Wellbeing academically and professionally and will produce works of international significance among Spanish, Latin American and European researchers.

2) Technology contributions:
It will provide bring a new dimension to our tool, relating to psycho-social assessment of the INE-TAS tool – which does not currently exist. It will subsequently be registered in the EU and patented in LATIN AMERICA and the USA, with the other variables of precursor -process- product associated with academic stress and psychological wellbeing. In addition, it will provide empirical information that will delimit protective factors and psychosocial risk factors for psychological wellbeing and better coping with situations of organizational stress, so as to be able to identify at risk individuals.

In parallel, it will support development of Version 3 of the interactive bilingual e-intervention software starting from the e-Coping with Stress tool (de la Fuente, 2015; de la Fuente & Martínez-Vicente, 2022) for university students as a tool and essential strategy for intervention to improve strategic motivational-affective strategies of self-regulation and coping with study in stressful situations.

Social and economic impact of the expected results:

1) Social impact.
The results will be transferred to universities, clinical settings and businesses to that they can be alert to these factors. The impact that these factors have on optimal levels of competence for psychological wellbeing and, in the final analysis, the mental health of their-members is already known. What has yet to be determined is the irregulatory, non-regulatory and dysregulatory effects on organizational cultures and their effects on the variables the subject of the study. In addition, the e-Coping with Stress tool will be transferred as an App (Proof of Concept 2022) to the firm GUNTI-EOS PSYCHOMETRICS (Italy, Spain).

2) Applicability
That analysis will make it possible to have a theoretically grounded and empirically validated heuristic as well as online tools for their use and a transfer strategy for the assessment and improvement of individual and contextual levels of regulation in the organizations studied. From there, it will be possible to develop a seal of quality for organizations in competence and psychological health in organizations with focused tools for implementation and improvement.
